Every day we commit at least one mistake. The intensity and duration of the mistake doesn't matter; its a mistake. We are humans; we make errors all the time but we forget sometimes how to learn from this particular event. Learning from our mistakes can make us better people and remind us what not to do to be in this certain situation again. Feeling guilty is fine. That feeling of remorse is what separates us from...
most creatures. We feel pity when we hurt someone and we want to repair and fix what we have done. Now the solution is how we will do it. It takes some time to think how we will approach it. Time is the key and essence of everything.
Every day we commit at least one benevolent action or someone is nice to us. Sometimes, the action is so insignificant that we overlook it and that's the issue. We never take the time to see what makes us happy about our lives. What could we do to repeat that unsinful action? How did that person make us smile and how can we corporate that into our daily actions? All these thoughts are important to think about and are vital to human progress. The only thing that it requires is time.
Time is the scarcest intangible object in the world. The time period could go on forever but our lifetimes are limited. Someone once said never go to bed angry or sad... because it will carry on to the next day and could lead to a series of unfortunate events. I believe this is true because then you start doubting yourself and committing irrational actions. That's why you should take thirty minutes per day to let your mind think and let loose everything you have felt that entire day. You will feel fresh again because you didn't bottle up everything inside and know the next day will be different because you won't commit the same mistake again. Sometimes homework, tests, work, etc. stress us out so much we carry it out on other people. That's wrong and those others don't deserve to suffer. That's why we need this reflection time every day to relieve those loose feelings. At the very least if you had a good day, you can just sit there reflecting on how awesome your day was and how much you love life. These peaks and troughs in life are what make it adventurous to live but helps you appreciate the people around you. It's very cliche in pop culture but sometimes you just need to turn that frown upside down.
