Getting out of bed in the morning is one of the hardest things to do. Yet, the day doesn't begin until your feet hit the ground. There are three main ingredients to a successful morning. The worst thing to hapeen in the morning though is you oversleep and you're later to your daily agenda.I recommend everyone to have an alarm clock but just not one but have two alarm clocks.
The purpose for two is if one of the alarms clocks doesn't go off or you sleep through one of them. I usually recommend to set those five to ten minutes apart so you will feel compelled to get out of bed because you know the other will go off soon if you don't. You will have a safety net to lean back on if technology ever fails.
But after your two alarm clocks go off, immediately set them for the next day. So you won't forget at night to set them and you will get into a daily routine. This is something good to practice every morning. The key to mastering something is repetition.
Dress up like you want to impress someone. This may sound very egotistic but care to let me elaborate. After getting up, take a shower, brush your teeth, straighten your hair and put on some make-up(for woman), comb your hair or put gel on(for men), and put on a pair of nice clothes. Doing this, you will feel fresh and beautiful to start off the day. There's nothing like feeling confident and knowing you will have a great day. At the very least, you will feel less scared to talk to others because you look nice. The first thing people will notice about someone is the other's appearance. Why not start right with first impressions? In the classroom or conference room, you will feel ready to learn and take on your daily duties. You will more likely ask questions(important tool in life) and answer questions the professor or the head boss asks. You never know you might impress someone of the opposite sex because you dressed for success.
Eat a good breakfast. Anytime one eats a good meal, they feel relieved and satisfied. Breakfast is seen as a meal you can skip but I feel it's a necessity to having an excellent day. All those calories and carbohydrates flowing through your digestive system will stimulate your day in the long run.
These three things are usually skipped by people. Just doing these little things can make one's day better and efficient. Who knows you may score well on a test or get a job promotion because you followed through these criteria for starting off a day right.
