Life too tough, want to give up?

Many times in our lives, we face adversity. You have too many things to do yet so little time. Some subject in school is making you feel like your insignificant and you just want to drop the class.
Take a deep breath and just think about how far you have came. There's people around you that care about you. To be so busy, you have to be wanted by society. You must be talented at something you are doing. Be proud of your talents.
My senior year, I became so overwhelmed with things. I felt like just giving up. It was early September and...

...school seemed fun. Now this is something I have never told anyone except my mom. I ran a bad race in cross country, I scored little points on math team, I got a C on my calculus test, I got a D on my Spanish test, I had so much homework, and I got close to 2-4 hours asleep per night. Yet, I wanted to fill out scholarships and college applications at the same time.
Life felt so miserable. My mind was fluttering with negative thoughts and I just wanted to quit everything. I talked to my mom about it. My mom told me, "Prioritize the things in your life and take one thing at a time. Failing at something or not meeting your goal doesn't make you a bad person."
First, I laid on my bed for one hour and started thinking what's really important. Granted I had a large load of homework to do but I needed that time to regroup and just relax. I made a list that night what was important to me and told myself I would take things one at a time.
Slowly, I got back up and starting progressing in my duties. The next two months was a tough road but everything worked out in the end nicely. I ended up qualifying for indoor state in track, qualified for math team state, and got an A in Spanish and calculus.
Sometimes life gets really difficult and we feel helpless. Taking some down time and thinking what's important to you will help you in the long run. Just remember if you ever need help, talk to a friend/parent/counselor. They will always be willing to help and talking is one of best things you can do in a tough situation.
